RETURNS / EXCHANGE
We have a 30-day return / exchange policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. This is in place to keep you covered if there is any defect in your product. We stand behind all the knives, tools, and other products we sell. We want our supporters to feel confident in their purchase, and know we will make it right if there is an issue with any product. We would only refund a purchase if we are unable to repair or replace the item.
Please note: We only accept exchanges for defective merchandise, not a buy it, try it, and return it. We are a small company that stands behind our products, but we reserve the right to refuse any return not due to defect. If we do not have a like item available for exchange we will arrange for a refund. We do not refund insurance.
NOTE: If something comes up outside the 30 day window please reach out and if we are able, we will take care of you. This is always on a case by case basis and does not apply to secondary sales items. We cant be responsible for merchandise damaged by others, and recommend you take the issue up with the seller. We want everyone to enjoy our gear and have a great experience with EMPEDC.
Order cancelation, If you cancel a processed order there will be a 10% Restocking fee. This is to cover the fees you created with the order and subsequent cancelation. Further more we can not refund any insurance purchased as that is via a 3rd party service ROUTE and we are unable to cancel this transaction once processed.
Restocking Fee: Note that some items may be subject to a 10% restocking fee to cover the costs lost due to processing fees.
For any and all knives and Pre-Order items a 10% restocking fee will be deducted to cover part of the transaction fees.
This is not to discourage you from canceling your order. We think it is fair for you to pay the fees created due to your change of heart.
Please note we do not charge any fee if the item was defective and we are refunding because we are unable to replace the item.
All purchases and sales are final and as is. The only exception is defect. If we missed something we make it right, and will give our valued customer the chance to exchange it for a fully functional item. Approval based on product inspection. No items may be returned without first contacting us to initiate the return process. We will not accept or take possession of the item.
To start a return, use the contact us link up in the top menu. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a pre-paid return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
International Returns:
Unfortunately we are not set up to offer international returns or exchanges. All international purchases are final. The items have been through a minimum of 3 QC checks to help ensure there are no issues. If an issue does occur we apologize for the inconvenience.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
If a product has seen heavy use, or we suspect fraud we reserve the right to refuse return / refund of said item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance, holiday sale items, or gift cards.
We do not offer " Buy it, Try it, Return it!" We are a small knife shop. Please be responsible in your purchases. We do not resell any returned items, they are a total loss to us. If we missed a defect that is ok we will refund or exchange the item, No Defect = No Exchange & NO Refund.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the Exchange or refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be sent a new item, or automatically refunded via your original payment method, less any shipping or restocking fees if applicable. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Sales: Any Merchandise ordered and or purchased during a sale may not be canceled or refunded prior to delivery. We do this because our sales have limited quantities, and it is not fair to others if you have a change of heart that costs them a chance at the same gear. We encourage responsible spending, and decision making. You the purchaser, made the choice to take advantage of a sale, and we thank you for the support.
PRE-ORDERS
No Order Cancellations are permitted on Pre-Orders
As a general rule, no pre-order item is eligible for a return/refund during the production of the item. Due to the nature of pre-orders, funds cannot be released during production. Pre-orders may have an estimated timeline ranging from 3-5 months till completion. By purchasing a pre-order item, you agree to this term.
In the rare exception to this a 10% restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the fees we pay to process your payments. Your refund will be issued when funds are available based on your method of payment. Transactions that are not fully settled are not eligible for refunds. This will include Sezzel Payments.
The reason for the restocking fee of 10% is due to you creating the extra fees by canceling the order. Platform and Processing companies charge us for all transactions weather sale or refund.
By placing any Order or Pre-Order you the customer agree to wait the defined time period for delivery, and agree to these terms and conditions.
