The Pulse R ( Ridiculous ) Size, Power, & and a Crazy Grind. OTFs fascinate me, I have collected. created, and enjoyed them for years. The goal for this project was to break the mold of what an OTF could be, without sacrificing real world usability. Making something both practical and impractical. The Pulse R is Ridiculous in both form and function. It’s a testament to the idea that an overbuilt OTF can be a useful tool, a ton of fun, and a conversation starter all in one!
The R is a one run and done, once they are gone, that is it. This project was done purely for the love of OTFs, for personal enjoyment, & as an exercise in " why not? " To create something never done before. Once the prototypes were in my hands, I enjoyed them so much that I wanted to offer the same experience to our community.
You will understand why I created these beasts, when you open your Pulse R. My bet is it slaps a huge smile on your face, gives you that " huh, huh, oh yeah chuckle" and leaves you finding ways to put it to work, or hand it to a friend, like " hey bud, check this out " so you can watch them have the same reaction.
